Vmware 11.5 with VM file

Hi All

Im trying to rollout Vmware 11.5 on catalina Macos using JamfPro. The issue is I cant seem to package up vmare with the correct vmware file and if I do the file size is massive, making it difficult to deliver over VPN.

I just wanted to see how any of you are creating this for delivery via self service

It sounds like you're including pre-build VM image in your deployment - that will take a lot of space. I'd recommend delivering the app separate from any VM... depending on whether you want to deliver a fully imaged, to spec VM or just trying to be nice to save end users time. Either they have to spend their time downloading it over VPN or spend their time building it... In my environment we would not trust users to build correctly on their own.
