VPP app behavior when migrating from one MDM to another

Looking at a migration for Macs from Workspace ONE to Jamf Pro. There are several VPP apps (free and purchased licenses) that need to come over and I'm trying to pin down expected behaviors and requirements for this to work. I did a test using two test MDM environments (WSO and Jamf) and deployed a VPP app to a Mac via WSO and ensured that it installed; I then unenrolled the Mac and enrolled it in to Jamf. The app remained installed and I didn't receive any popups about the license or anything else. The problem is, I don't know if the Mac is still using the VPP license from WSO or if it switched to using the Jamf license. Does anyone have any guidance or experience with this?
