VPP assignments taking a long time to load - Anyone else experience this?

When assigning any VPP apps to a user, or removing any apps it takes a considerable amount of time after the save button is pressed, upwards of 2 minutes sometimes. Is this a normal experience? It can be frustrating when needing to do many different groups or apps at the same time.

Edit: Realise my wording could be taken wrong. This is just for assigning the app, not for it to actually load on the devices.

I'm seeing the same thing here. It does eventually complete and the assignments seem to be successful but it can be disconcertingly long at times.

This sounds a lot like the behavior we see with D-007113, in which saving app assignments takes an abnormally long time or times out. However, without taking a look at the JAMFSoftwareServer.log and looking a bit more closely at your individual environments, I can’t say that with 100% certainty.

It would be something I’d recommend contacting your Technical Account Manager about, if you haven’t already, so they can further troubleshoot to determine whether the behavior you’re seeing is being caused by D-007113 or find out if it’s being caused by something else.

When you do contact them, it would be helpful to include a mention of D-007113 along with the symptoms you’re seeing.
