I have VPP app device assignment working, but noticed each scoped app set to deploy in this manner prompts the user on the iOS device that it's about to install, and gives them the option to "Cancel" or "Install" the app.
Is there any way to get the app to install without prompting the end user at all?

I am pretty sure that Supervised devices, either by Configurator or DEP, shouldn't prompt to install apps

I may be wrong but I think the iPads require automatic downloads turned on for Apps. This can be found in Settings > iTunes & App Store > Automatic Downloads. You need to be signed into the App Store to see this.

@plawrence is correct. Supervised devices can silent install/update. Unsupervised devices will prompt.

Emphases on "can." They can, but will they most likely be silent? I haven't seen it happen too often. If anyone has figured out the right work flow, please fill me in.
