+2Pretty much summarized above, but we are a school with two campuses. The senior campus does not use iPads so at the end of year 7 these devices need to be cycled over to new students. The devices are assigned 1:1
I need a way to wipe all year 7 devices ( we have the users group set up in AD )

+6We set the student's graduating year in the description field in AD. Under LDAP mappings, we've mapped department to description in AD.
You would then need to create a smart group that has criteria of department is 2021. Once you have your smart group, you can systematically target users by grade.
Otherwise, check your LDAP mappings under Gear > LDAP Servers > Mappings > User Group Mappings.
+2That all makes sense, but how do I send the wipe command to a user group? I need to have a smart group for mobile devices to make this happen don't I?
