Yosemite/9.63/losing Distribution Point

I'm finding that, after creating and adding anywhere from 1-3 pkgs to Casper Admin and then indexing them, the application is freezing and losing connection with my master distribution point. I can force quit Admin but have to reboot my Casper machine in order to remount the primary distribution point. Anyone else running into this? I'm on the newest Casper binaries and Yosemite build, and have had none of the typical Yosemite network issues.

Yeah, I'm seeing this happen quite a bit too.

I'm seeing this behavior as well.

  1. Launch Casper Admin 9.7.
  2. Drag and drop a couple of items (one by one, not at the same time).
  3. Third item makes CA 9.7 crash to Desktop.
  4. Master distribution point AFP share is left mounted on client machine.
  5. Must unmount share before re-launching CA 9.7.
  6. Repeat steps 1-5.

Master distribution point hosted on Yosemite 10.10.3 Server 4.1.
Casper Suite 9.7 on client computer used to upload packages.

I'm seeing a lot of Casper Admin crashes when dragging new packages in (sometimes adding, sometimes replacing).

Had some luck for awhile by deleting Casper Admin prefs from my ~/Library/Preferences folder, but the problem has eventually come back. 9.65.

Seen the crashes too.

This might save you the reboot before re-opening Casper Admin:

sudo umount /Volumes/CasperShare

I have now noticed that if I wait 10-15 seconds between uploads, it doesn't crash. I guess I had to be more patient.

YMMV, but try it. It's not a solution, but until it's fixed, it seems to work.
