Yosemite Updates from 10.8.5 Apple SUS

Hey guys,

Does anyone know if we will be able to serve the Yosemite update catalog from Apple SUS running on 10.8.5? I know that it was possible in the past (10.8.5 serves 10.9 updates). Thoughts? Ideas?

I saw this during my search for information. I havent tried to apply the settings as of yet. Has anyone gotten this to work?

I haven't tested it as we will be updating our SUS server to 10.10. But Mavericks and Yosemite have cached preferences. It is likely this is causing the problem and not taking the command line changes. After you have updated the plist run:

killall cfprefsd

@dgreening Any luck getting this working? I can download the Yosemite updates on my main Apple SUS server by adjusting the swupd.plist. But I cannot get the swupd.config to stick on the main Apple SUS. This is causing all of my Apple relay SUS servers to not get Yosemite updates from my main Apple SUS.
