How long should it take for changes made to block or allow something in the content filtering policy to push out to the devices?  Sometimes I make a change and it seems like it goes through to my test device almost immediately and other times it can take hours.  Is there a way to speed up this process somehow so I can test my changes in a reasonable timeframe?

I usually give myself a 4hr change Window because I can be forgetful and forget to actually do the thing. Generally speaking, the Change window only needs to cover the actual time it takes for you to make the changes, not the time it takes for devices to receive the changes. Each environment is different, but this is how the ones I have worked at operate.

Configuration Profiles usually deploy and update within 30 seconds to 1 minute of you clicking the button in Jamf, they are very fast. You won't know what Configuration Profiles are on a device from the inventory records until the device finishes an Inventory Update which can take a while. Also, offline devices won't receive the change until they come online next.
