can't manage ipads anymore

Good evening
I have recently become the new ICT manager at our school. I replaced the push certificate with one with my Apple ID. And pushed a new profile on all iPads with Apple configurator. In Jamf, the iPads are paired with the students again. So far it went well. Now I can no longer manage almost all iPads in Jamf. What am I doing wrong?

Greetings from Aruba
Johan

By "pushed a new profile on all iPads with Apple configurator," do you mean you erased and re-enrolled the devices?

If not, that will be required if you are using a new APNS certificate created with a different Apple ID.  To avoid this in the future, you may want to create a new Managed Apple ID (e.g. apns@yourdomain.edu) and use that for the APNS certificate.  This will allow your successor to renew the cert rather than having to make a new one and re-enroll every device.
