IT Systems Administrator - Onsite in Los Angeles

Viewpoint School is currently seeking a Systems Administrator reporting to our Director of Information Technology.   This position’s primary function is to support the Apple and Google technologies at the school.  Secondary functions include resolving support tickets requiring escalation, interfacing with users throughout the support process and configuration/deployment of end-user devices through management tools and processes. 

Primary functions include leveraging Jamf Pro to configure, deploy, manage, and maintain Mac computers, iPads, and Apple TVs.  You'll also be assisting support server and cloud solutions including Google Workspace, Active Directory, Office 365, Zoom, Avast Antivirus, Windows Printing services, PaperCut Print Management, VDI, and storage. 

Some of the day-to-day tasks might include...   Assisting with support ticket resolution; providing feedback to IT staff as needed throughout the resolution process and ensure communication to the end-users. Writing and maintaining clear documentation for Tier 1 support personnel; developing technical documentation for employees, students & online knowledge base. Identifying trends and frequent problems and then addressing them through automations or front-facing documentation.

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in supporting macOS, iOS and Google technology.  Jamf Certified Admin (required) or Jamf Certified Expert (desired)
Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP)
Google Certified Collaboration Engineer or similar
Bash/Python Scripting experience as well as experience with Google SSO SAML, Apps Script, JavaScript and API’s.
