Job Summary

As a System Administrator, you will help develop, maintain, and secure our SCCM, JAMF, and ServiceNow infrastructure by the administering of virtual servers in support of business processing requirements. Installs, upgrades, and patches operating systems and complex software packages. Schedules installations and upgrades in accordance with established IT policies and procedures. Conducts routine software audits to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines. The ideal candidate is a flexible, driven, diligent worker that is able to analyze the environment both as a whole and in detail to provide necessary business systems and services to end users.

Essential Functions

45% - Designs, configures, and maintains configuration applications (JAMF/MEMCM) and the servers associated with those applications.

20% - Creates, deploys, and updates software deployed through Configuration applications (JAMF/MEMCM) using standard silent deployment techniques

10% - Tests and verifies automated configuration settings for WMI, registry, and firmware; installs applications, updates, and patches and tests operational functionality after troubleshooting system problems to determine a root cause

20% - Provides support for downstream support personnel and demonstrates new technologies; writes and provides applicable documentation creating workshop and training materials; conducting training, and contributing to a knowledge base for use by technical support and service desk staff

5% - Analyzes new technologies for potential applications; makes recommendations regarding operating software and system selections; Other duties as assigned
