Today we are releasing Jamf Pro 11.0. Highlights of this release include:

  • Jamf Pro Interface Redesign
The Jamf Pro interface has been redesigned to improve clarity and ease of use. The redesign includes new sidebar navigation, larger font sizes, greater contrast between font and background colors, and adjustments to the padding and alignment of various elements. These accessibility improvements make it easier to read text and scan information quickly when using Jamf Pro.
  • Account-Driven Device Enrollment
You can now use Account-Driven Device Enrollment to enroll mobile devices with Jamf Pro. Account-Driven Device Enrollment allows administrators to enroll institutionally owned mobile devices with Managed Apple IDs, simplifying the enrollment process. Note: Account-Driven Device Enrollment requires mobile devices with iOS 17 or later, or iPadOS 17 or later.
  • StateRAMP Status
Jamf has attained StateRAMP Ready status for Jamf Pro. For more information, see StateRAMP Compliance in the Trust Center.

For additional information on what's included in this release, review the release notes via the Jamf Learning Hub.

To access new versions of Jamf Pro, log into Jamf Account with your Jamf ID. The latest version is located in the Products section under Jamf Pro.

Note: Additional issues will be resolved in version 11.0.1, which is currently scheduled to release the week of 23 October.

Where we can see number of computer and device in Jamf Pro 11?
Was able to view it under version information in Jamf Pro 10

Please ignore this, I was able to find it.

Could you please explain further why the feature to manage software updates via declarative device management is a cloud-only feature? I can't intuitively see any technical reason for this limitation. Or is this more of a "political" decision to incentivate customers to move to the cloud-hosted version? If there is a technical reason, do elaborate and if possible also indicate if we can expect this feature to come to the on-premise hosted version of the software.

Thinking from an infrastructural perspective, I think it would be great if Sandbox could be upgraded earlier to enable us to familiarize ourselves with what is coming up in the production environment instead of releasing the reverse.

does ADDE manage the device, or will I the an unmanaged state? Without Management, there's little benefit.

Bring back dark mode, and the layout is not that great specially the inventory records

@Jacek_ADC Thanks for sharing that. I still think Jamf should revise it's upgrade rollout strategy from a business perspective.

A dark mode or not as bright would be appreciated, going from a fairly low brightness UI to a full White Background was an unpleasant surprise

not loving the redesign, it's too bright and harder to read the text. the larger bold text in the computer inventory display is nice, but all the rest is a step back to me.

Redesign is fine as Smart groups are working now, where before, I had to go back and try a second time to get results to show. Smart group titles are not truncated to 2 lines or less. Email notifications are now properly formatted.

I would like a dark mode like the previous version..  Blinding white an not ideal color.

Smart Group and Static group value is not visible properly in Jamf Pro 11.0.1

I must admit the responsiveness is a welcome improvement. Far less browser heavy.

Thanks.
