@bergmire That is not normal behavior. I think I understand your problem. With Self Service either opened or closed the icon remains. I have posted screenshots of what I see. Can you do the same?

@imZack Have you uploaded the .png to the Jamf Pro server? Settings > Computer Management > Self Service > Branding.

@mm2270 is absolutely right. That would be the best way in my opinion as well. Make sure you take a look at your JSS Settings > Computer Management > Computer Inventory Collection and make sure "Collect package receipts" is enabled.
