If you have ever answered a question in Jamf Nation at the end of a long workday, helped a coworker finally get a workflow running, shared a script with a peer, or shown up to a user group meeting with tips or questions, this one's for you.
Jamf Heroes is designed for people who are passionate about helping the broader Mac Admin community thrive with Apple. It's a space to share, learn, grow, collaborate, and give back to the Apple admin world. Three community members share their perspectives on the benefits of the Jamf Heroes program and how it has helped them find success in their careers.

Hear from Heroes
Chris Hafner, a longtime Hero, stays in the program year after year for a variety of reasons. While they have evolved over time, the crux of it is the human connection and the solid relationships he has built.
"It's the people and the positivity! It's a collection of people, and Jamfs, who have really come to support each other in a very positive discussion group to move not only the product but our admins and users forward. This is the single most positive, supportive, and helpful technology discussion group I have ever had the privilege to be part of."
At JNUC 2026, Chris co-presented a session titled "Practical Guide to Blueprints: One Year in Production," which was inspired by what he learned throughout the year as a Jamf Hero.
"The group provided invaluable insight into new product features, specifically around Blueprint adoption, that helped me shape my most recent JNUC session."
Taylor Taylor, a self-proclaimed introvert, finds great value in the Heroes group by attending the monthly meetups, listening to her fellow Heroes, and learning new tips and tricks. Just being present has helped her spark ideas and has given her access to a large group of people she feels comfortable reaching out to when in doubt.
"When I hit a roadblock, I could lean on people who had already solved it. Without them, I'd have spent days, or even weeks, finding a solution on my own. Heroes connected me with Jamf team members and gave me the chance to share feedback. You can't find that kind of insight in a knowledge base!"
Taylor also loves that she has been able to grow her network on a global scale, and as a result, has gotten even better at her job and gained richer depth in her career.
"For a small investment of time, I gain access to Jamf expertise, visibility, networking, and professional growth. My team benefits as well, with faster problem-solving and ideas we can put to work right away."
Trevor Baker is applying for the first time to join the Heroes this year. Trevor is active in the Jamf Nation community in a variety of ways, most notably as the leader of the Alamo City Apple Admins User Group. What draws him to apply is his passion for meeting new people and his love of fostering a real sense of community.
"I've always operated on the idea that it's best to give back to the community that gave so much to us. I may not have as much technical skill as others, but I have heart, so that has to count for something!"
He is also especially excited to grow with this cohort and make new friends.
"I hope being a Hero will allow me to connect and network with others, not just for work experience or job opportunities, but to build genuine friendships. I want to walk away knowing that if somebody needs help, I can be relied on."
Why be a Hero
Chris, Taylor, and Trevor paint a picture of the personal and profession benefits of being a Jamf Hero; from helping to achieve mastery, making new friends and being exposed to new ideas and opportunities, the Heroes program is meaningful way to spend your time as a Jamf Admin in 2027.
To get to the nuts and bolts of it, here are the tangibles of what you’ll get from our side:
Access: If you value more time with Jamf leaders and teams across the organization, you'll appreciate the opportunities Heroes provides.
Recognition: We'll help you build your personal brand to showcase your industry knowledge. You'll also get a Jamf Heroes ribbon for your badge at JNUC and JNL.
Fun: Everyone needs laughter in their lives. Heroes brings a solid dose of fun and facilitates new friendships.
And more: We believe in creating moments that matter, so be ready for a surprise or two.
