Hey all,Is anyone else seeing this message when users try to add a new wifi network or change an existing wifi network? My only guess is a user is clicking through Control Center instead of just using the wifi menu drop down, but i've had 2 users show me this message so far. 13.5 is the MacOS version we are seeing this on.
hi,So we have a custom pkg file that is used to set up a common shared printer. we have no control over the contents of the .pkg file but it seems to need admin access when installed interactively. When we try to deploy the .pkg via self service (as a jamf policy), it fails and looking in the logs, it is complaining that it needs rosetta 2 to be installed. Unfortunately the mac itself has problems remotely installing rosetta (which is another issue altogether) but for now, is it possible to run and install this .pkg interactively via jamf or self service as admin inside/under the current logged in user's session?
Hi CommunityI would like to modify settings in the Java control panel for my users.I couldn't find it on the Java site.Do you have an idea?Thank's

I'm having issues with single sign on. After an employee turns on a new device, I get this error when failing to connect to the remote management. Invalid credentials. Ensure the client ID and client secret settings are configured correctly Has anyone had this issue? How can I solve it?
I have a MacBook I bought back in 2019 for school and I have recently gotten the " MDM Profile Configuration Expiration Soon" message. (It'll happen in the next 5 days). I bought it with my money and set up my account as well but I think the school set the MDM profile up to allow the use of the school portal. I am aware that after 5 years the profiles expire, I am also out of school so I don't use any school-related software. My question is what will this expiration do to my laptop? Will I lose access to anything I have downloaded on my own or will it just stop access to all school-related software? Any help is appreciated!
Hello,I am currently working on integrating macOS local accounts with Azure AD accounts. Is this feasible?I'm having difficulty locating the appropriate documentation to guide me through the setup process.Additionally, we are exploring Jamf Pro as part of our trial phase. We require the capability to enable users to reset their Microsoft account password, ensuring it synchronizes with the local macOS account. Any help would be much appreciated.
I recently encountered a client with the need to deploy the Vanta agent to multiple macOS devices. Surprisingly, there was no officially supported method for this, even after consulting with Vanta support. However, through some reverse engineering, I managed to devise a solution. Read more
I have a config profile that is meant to set proxies. Hey yall are any of you running JAMF with Zentral and Santa and if so are there any tips or tricks you can pass on to me?
Hey Everyone, I am testing out a new enrollment customization, that allows Jamf Pro to pass user info to Jamf Connect (from the initial SSO auth) to create the initial local user account during pre-stage enrollment. Looking for this UX - Enrollment Customization User Experience - Technical Paper: Customizing the Jamf Pro Enrollment Experience Using Enrollment Customization and Jamf Connect 10.19.0 or Later | JamfI believe I have everything configured correctly, we have SSO enabled, and I have selected the user mapping in the enrollment customization for the account creation. I ensured that the JC profiles stay on the device during and after enrollment, so no user information is lost. However, when testing I do not get the expected outcome. Users will be brought to the local or Network login screen - rather than being asked to verify their account password. Anything tips or advice? I understand there is PI109772 for users that have Jamf accounts with admin
Having a issue with scripts not saving when clicking the save button. Basically the button does nothing (leaving the page and Jamf asks if I really want to leave the page so I know its been edited) I have tried firefox, chrome, safari. Not sure what's going since nothing has changed on our end and everything has been working fine for months,
Hey folks, this is my first post here and we have Jamf Pro since 2 weeks. We have a customized Teamviewerqs.pkg which is deployed to all computers. At the first start the window with Eula prompted. Is there a way to block it or accept it with a config in background? Cheers
Hi,I work at a private K-12 school with students that can be forgetful. Every now and then we need to change a user's password via the Google Admin console (user forgot, info leak, etc)We rolled out Jamf Connect this school year, and we're realizing that when we change the password via Google Admin console, Jamf Connect no longer works. If we try to have the user sign in with the Jamf Connect google window, it will try to open a verification window that refuses to accept the new password. Our fix is to use the local admin account, sign in that way, then use the local admin to change the user's account password to the new password. Is there any Jamf setting that would allow the Jamf Connect feature to change account passwords upon sign in? Or am I doing this the correct way?
Hello AllWe are runnning into an issue with laptops trying to update OS and being met with an error that states "you need to be an owner to install". Some machines the workaround of "sudo softwareupdate -i -a -R", will install the update but this isnt ideal. All machines are M1 machines, DEP enrolled and going through the same prestage. It seems like its related to SecureToken missing (which might also be causing some FV2 issues) for the user, at least thats what my google fu leads me to. I kind of remember there being a script out there that could be used to assign a securetoken, we used it at my last place but I cant seem to find it. Any help is appreciated!!!!

We use Jamf Connect with MS Entra ID and I have a couple of users who's account will allow them to authenticate most of the time, but occasionally it starts looping where it successfully goes through the username and password stage but instead of proceeding into macOS it prompts them to log in again like the mac just turned on. Over and Over. Jamf Connect is on 2.27 and MacOS 13.x on brand new M1 Macbook Airs.Thoughts?
Hello, I am new to jamf and our client is requesting that we automate turning off of Natural Scrolling. I have found a script that when run in terminal works perfect and does not prompt the user for anything. Currently this is what I am using:#!bin\\bashdefaults write NSGlobalDomain com.apple.swipescrolldirection -bool falseWhen I go to run this through jamf it just fails and does nothing. I'm sure I am missing something but have racked my brain and cannot figure it out. Thanks in advance for the help.
Hello Jamf Nation, On Saturday, December 16, 2023, Jamf is making infrastructure changes. Please note that during the upcoming maintenance window, your server will be unavailable for 30 mins to 4 hours. Some instances may exceed 4 hours. This essential maintenance will enhance our cloud infrastructure’s performance and security. Please ensure that all IPs in your region are fully open internally to allow all services within Jamf Pro to continue to function. Failure to do so could result in the inability to log in with LDAP accounts, impacts to JCDS functionality or ADCS communications, etc. As outlined in the documentation, ensure this is completed before your migration date so the process is as smooth as possible for all parties involved. Please see the outage windows for our regions below: Hosted Region Begins Ends ap-southeast-2 15 December at 1300 UTC 16 December at 0100 UTC ap-northeast-1 15 December at 1500 UTC 16 December at 0300 UTC eu-central-1 15 Dec
