Hello from Jamf,

The Product Design and Engineering teams have made great strides this past year to improve the accessibility of our products. Our goal is to achieve WCAG 2.2 AA compliance for our products by delivering improvements incrementally to attain 100% adherence to those standards. Here are a few highlights we wanted to share with you regarding the work we have done in 2023:
  • Self Service, the gateway to purchased apps and books for your end users, is 100% WCAG 2.1 AA compliant.
  • Jamf Pro 11 series introduced quite a few enhancements to our product accessibility:
    • Improved color contrast throughout the product, most noticeably in the side navigation area
    • Keyboard navigation has been updated to support navigation to elements in the top bar, such as Notifications and the user avatar menu.
    • Keyboard navigation issues with the side menu have been fixed
    • Added a “Skip to Main Content” action, visible only when using keyboard navigation, to facilitate skipping over the navigation elements and moving focus into the main area of the page.
    • Status indicator and accordion control announcements are working when a screen reader is used.
    • Dark mode for Jamf Pro 11 is currently in beta, and will be available with the Jamf Pro 11.2 release, currently scheduled for January 23, 2024.
  • Jamf Protect now has improved color options in the RADAR console, making it easier for any user to read.
Thank you for your continued feedback on accessibility; we appreciate the care and concern that you bring to these conversations. While we are excited about these recent improvements, please know that our work is not done. We will continue to investigate further development to our web and native apps in 2024 with the goal of providing an inclusive and functional suite of products that work for each of you, our customers, and your users.
