After a successful private beta period, we're excited to announce that Jamf's AI Assistant is now available for US-based organizations to try out. Here's everything you need to know about getting started with our new AI-powered knowledge assistant.
What is the AI Assistant?
Jamf's AI Assistant is your instant knowledge companion for all things Jamf and Apple device management. Using advanced AI technology, it provides immediate, accurate responses by drawing from our comprehensive knowledge base, including product documentation, Learning Hub articles, support knowledge, and curated Jamf Nation content.
How to Enable Access
1. Organization admins with a company role of 'Decision Maker' or 'Primary Technical' (viewable in Organization > Team Members): Head to Jamf Account and look for the new AI Assistant subsection within the Organization area
2. Review and accept the terms and conditions
3. Once enabled, all users in your organization will see the AI Assistant icon in the top navigation bar of Jamf Account
Note: If you don't see Jamf's AI Assistant after enabling, please contact your Jamf representative for assistance
Current Capabilities
- Natural language interaction - ask questions just like you would to a colleague
- Instant access to information from across Jamf's knowledge resources
- Source verification - click the newspaper icon below any response to see exactly where the information came from
- Feedback mechanisms to help us improve responses
Important Notes
- This release focuses on the knowledge skill - think of it as having instant access to all Jamf documentation and best practices
- The assistant cannot currently access or modify your Jamf instance (those capabilities are coming in 2025!)
- This is an opt-in feature that your org admin can enable or disable at any time
- Refreshing the page will end your current conversation - we're working on conversation history and the ability to save/resume conversations for a future release
- Currently available for US-based organizations only (stay tuned for availability in other regions during the beta period!)
