Hello, I'm trying to deploy JAMF Connect as part of my DEP enrollment process, but I have found out that if I send a computer to a new hire that has not set up his/her OKTA verify app it will prompt the user to set it up and after the setup is completed it will stay on the OKTA screen and won't go pass it.

We do a similar thing and have set the Help URL for the Jamf Connect login window to point to our Okta instance, so they can then finish their login and setup of Okta. Takes some explaining sometimes to get the new user to click Help but it seems to work for us to get MFA setup for new users.
