I have students grabbing other students' iPads. And. Get their password by clicking on the Wi-Fi. Settings.

I think we might need more info here. Maybe a video of the issue?

The Settings - Wifi will only show the wifi password. Wifi password sharing can be restricted in Jamf School or Jamf Pro.

Apple specifically blocks admins from restricting the settings app from being access. If the wireless network is manually added, there is no way to stop the user from viewing the password. If MDM adds the network, the user can't see the password.

I would suggest changing your approach and requiring a password or pin to unlock the iPad. If a student gives out their password, or sets something too simple, it is on them if their account is compromised. Start good security practices early on.
