Has anyone captured a 10.7.5 installer yet?

Just wonder it is available yet or ever will be.

Yep, we pulled it down a few minutes after it was announced. You'll need to pull it down on a 10.6 Mac. Same trick as always works for extracting InstallerESD.dmg, etc...

Failed: On 9/20/12, I tried doing an Internet Recovery on a MacBook Pro that shipped with 10.6.6, but had 10.7.5 installed at one point. The trick of reinstalling the OS on external drive resulted in a InstallESD.dmg that was version Mac OS X 10.7.4.

Success! I was able to put 10.6.8 on that same MacBook Pro and used the Mac App Store to capture a 10.7.5 InstallESD.dmg. Thanks Don!

As mentioned on the webs, prior to 10.7.4 you to be able use Disk Utility to restore the DMG directly to a external HD or USB Flash drive. With current releases, that will result in an error message when disk utility is in the final stages of restoring. The solution, first mount the 10.7.5 or 10.7.4 InstallESD.dmg and then use that mounted volume as the restore source, it works without errors.

I just download it from the app store. You don't need 10.6 to do it. 10.7.5 machines will allow you to download 10.7.5 installers. I either run them through SIU to make a NetInstall set or Filewave Lightning to make a never booted ASR that works with JAMF and lots of other deployment methods.

Every time I try and download it from the app store, I get the following: "There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (13)"

Surely Lion OS is not in App Store! is it?
I can not see it?!

I saw this problem last week as well. Then I disconnected an external drive that contained (older) copies of Install Mac OS X Lion.app and Install OS X Mountain Lion.app, and I was then able to download the Lion (10.7.5) installer app.

I already had a copy in /Applications but I thought downloading it again would just overwrite it. I deleted the existing copy and it's now downloading.

Glad I read this thread!

Just learned I needed to unhide previous purchases so I could view the Lion installer, which wasn't appearing in searches. Then I Option-clicked the Purchases tab to enable the download again. I saw the same error "(13)" message and disconnected my own external drive with a 10.7.4 installer and restarted the Mac App Store.

Downloading now.

Why do I get the feeling someone at Apple is LHAO while collecting his winnings from a bet...

OK I see what they did there... downloaded successfuly after moving the existing "/Applications/Install Mac OS X Lion.app" to different location or trash it.
