10.8 Updates App Store Only?!?

Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue. What the heck are we going to do if this is infact true?

Just asked a buddy of mine to look inside the 10.8 installer's package for the big fat .dmg, a la Lion - he said it wasn't there.
