44GB of bin files in MySQL folder?

I have JSS 10.9 running on a Windows Server 2016 server and was looking to clean up the C drive as it is getting quite full. I found 44GB of .bin files in C:ProgramDataMySQLMySQL Server 5.7Data. Is this normal? If not, how can this be safely cleaned up?

I just read that this can be related to settings enabled in the JSS Database Utility (Utilities > MySQL Settings> but that option is greyed out for me so I can't get into it to check.

Please do not just delete them. You need to let mysqld do that for you.
