Hey gang,
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
I'm working with support on an issue and thought I'd check on the list as well. We have a situation here where if a user's name changes (marriage or other life event, etc.) and their AD account is updated with their new name, they can no longer log in to Self Service. When they try to log in, there's a quick flash of the progress bar and the log in screen stays put. If we change the name back to its original name, the login works.
We had the issue on 8.1 and we are still having it on 8.31. I'm waiting for a link to try it with 8.4. In the meantime, I'm wondering if it has something to do with the fields we're mapping to perhaps. Right now, User ID is mapped to uSNCreated and Username is mapped to sAMAccountName. I don't recall setting this info when we did our JumpStart but maybe we did. And I don't know how much this even matters just throwing it out there.
Have any of you seen this issue?
