Firstly I'd just like to know is it possible to add a external USB hard drive as a file share in the JSS.
I was thinking of adding it as afp://127.0.0.1/CasperShare .
We have policies that we run off a first run script and i was thinking of duplicating these policies , and then specifically telling these policies which run software installers to run from this local share.
This will allow us to avoid monolithic imaging through Casper Imaging and speed up the imaging process at first run - namely CS6 + Office.
I'd like to hear if anyone has done anything similar
