I'm beating my head against the wall on this one.
Adobe Acrobat 8 (part of the CS3 master collection) is crashing on subsequent runs by users. That is, it launches fine the first time and is fully functional, but if they close the application and open it again, it crashes on startup.
Runs fine as administrator.
I've disabled the update plugin (suggested all around the web to prevent crashes).
I've disabled the self heal (so that it didn't ask for an admin username and password on each run)
Fixed file permissions.
Deleted all files that get created or modified after adobe runs as a user (i used composer to figure out which files)
* Flushed user caches
Nothing. Only way to get it to run again is to delete the users home directory. Then it runs just once, as that user, and not again.
Anyone else run into this problem with deployed adobe acrobat packages? This wasn't a problem on the old image (before i started using casper).
