Aerohive MDM setup

I'm hoping someone can help me get MDM setup with my aerohive system. Right now, i have 1 SSID with MDM enabled and the URL set to the enrollment page. When i set my iPad to the that SSID and connect i get cannot open that web page. I do not get redirected to the enrollment page. Is there something that needs to be done on the JSS side to make this happen? Thanks for any help

From my understanding of Aerohive, it should be acting as an extension of your network and more-or-less, acts as a awesome access point.

A couple of questions:

1. When on the SSID through Aerohive, can you ping the JSS on a computer for instance?

2. If so, can you navigate to the jss url page on that wireless network? https://jss.company.com:8443 for example.

3. If you can't do those things, the JSS is definitely not reachable on your system and something needs to be opened up on the Aerohive side to allow your connection to pass through. this would all depend on your setup, VLAN configurations, and more.

4. If you can get to it, can you get to the enroll page on a computer? https://jss.company.com:8443/enroll for example.

5. If you can, you are very close and there may be something else going on.

When i am connected to that SSID, i can connect to the JSS URL if i type it in manually. No other website will work at all. It wont redirect me to the enrollment URL as it should. Im sure its a simple thing im missing

Did you get this figured out already?

If not, what are you trying to forward to what? Are you trying to get a completely different webpage to forward to the Enrollment URL? This would have to be something you set up on your own if so.

There is no redirection to the "enrollment" page from the main JSS URL. You actucally have to type the full line in. Does that work?
