I looked through the iCloud discussion section and didn't exactly find an answer to my question.
I want to enable iCloud for the sole purpose of allowing Find My Mac, but I do not want any of other features to allow any files to be backed up to iCloud. This is for MacOS, not iOS.
In testing, I created a configuration profile in JSS that unchecked all of the icloud features, except for the find my mac feature. When logged into that device, the icloud icon in System Preferences in grayed out, so I am never able to log into icloud and ensure that FMM is turned on.
Any thoughts on how I can get this to work? Perhaps I need to allow one other feature of icloud...or do this all via command line.
