Alternative ways to image Boot Camp partitions?

Hello all,

Since Winclone has been discontinued for some time now, I was curious about looking into other ways to image a Boot Camp partition, and deploy the image on Macs with Casper.

What are you all using out there?

Do you have a standard Windows deployment method? If so, it seems to make sense to use that. For instance we use MDT and simply use that to deploy Windows 7 into a VM.

Hi Jared,

What I have been using is Winclone to create my Windows image, and then deployed via Casper Imaging. It's REALLY slow, but it's been working great.

The problem I'm facing now is that since Winclone has long been discontinued, I need to find another method of putting my Boot Camp image on my Macs. The last version of Winclone still works, but it won't run on anything newer than 10.5.x, and I can't keep a computer tied up just for booting up to run Winclone.

I had seen around the web that some people had developed a script to use NTFSPROGS and worked it into Casper Imaging that way, but the threads are a few years old.
