We have a bunch of computers using nVidia Graphics that we don't want to update to Mojave. Despite our Appstore settings set to NOT check for updates still got pushed the Mojave installler ( storeagent program prompted for admin password, but would like to avoid this completely)
Any command I can run to block this?

@TSOAFTVPPC you can try adding "Install macOS Mojave.app" in the restricted software list.

The Install macOS Mojave.app is now considered an update (This change actually happened for High Sierra) so if you have automatic updates set for your machines, this will install minor operating system revisions as well as full installers for the next major version of the OS.
You can either turn off automatic updates, or block the processes behind the use of the installer application to prevent users from accidentally upgrading.

We block the InstallAsssitant in restricted software.
It blocks the installation of OS updates by blocking the basic Mac Install Assistant inherent to all OS updates.

@rquigley Wow, that's pretty agressive for installing major OS versions. I guess it is best to make sure auto-update is turned off so testing can be done before pushing out to end users.
