So we've got a number of iPads, and as of this summer we're seeing a really strange issue. We configure the iPads with Configurator 2 because my boss won't approve DEP for whatever reason.
The issue I have, is particularly with Google's apps (Drive, sheets, docs, and slides) and Brainpop. We add the apps as part of the blueprint. Open the app, and sign in with the appleID we use for each grade.
The problem is that as soon as i press okay, the app crashes to desktop. I can reinstall the app from the app store, but it will continue to crash to desktop.
However, if I skip using a blueprint, and set the iPad up by hand, manually adding configuration profiles with configuration, and using a manual prepare, and then manually install every app from the app store they work just fine.
The issue only happens sometimes, for example yesterday I ran a blueprint and the iPad work flawlessly, but today not a single app would open.
Has anyone else seen this issue?
