We use a JAMF server for our middle school that is run by our state's technology program. There are two VPP Invites our kids accept - one from the state for the apps they provide (Notability, Pages, Explain Everything, etc.) and one from us for their grade level apps. We've been noticing lately that sometimes when we try to download the apps on devices they show up in the user's purchase history, however instead of the usual cloud icon it says Free and prompts for the user's password when we try to download. Has anyone seen an issue like this before, and if so what did you do to correct it?
