Hi All,
We are in the midst of our Jamf Pro deployment campus wide. We are running into machines not already in the system. Did you enforce the full extent of your new configuration on those existing users or did you just add them to a group for tracking purposes?

Yes, we onboard Macs to our 'fully assured' (Jamf-managed) service wherever possible, and that process includes migrating local accounts to mobile, AD ones. We don't yet use Apple School Manager, but are planning a migration in Q1 2020.
For those systems that spend most of their time off campus, or there is some other good reason why they can't be fully managed (as we currently have no Mac VPN solution and our Jamf instance is not exposed to the internet) then they are 'manually assured' and won't make it into Jamf Pro.
