Can I see the status of a client computer updating its software?

Hey guys,

I am a new user so I'll ask a newbie type question. :)

Lets say I have a machine thats been of the network for a bit. I know once it connects to the network it will run the every15 policy and try to download and update to the latest software.

Other than looking at the logs to see if the software was installed is there a way to see what that client machine is doing? Maybe some type of verbose mode that will show me the current process.

Thanks!

Looked into it and found out that I could ssh into the machine and just do a tail -f /var/log/jamf.log
