Can't Netboot or boot to Snow Leopard since update

Evening,

I have a new MacBook Pro that was able to netboot to our Casper Imaging
server and install its 10.6.8. v1.1 image last week. I ran updates on the
laptop this afternoon and now I cannot netboot or boot to a Snow Leopard
install dvd or usb key. I did notice the updates it was installing were
Thunerbolt updates (3 to be exact). Does anyone know a work around just
short of moving to Lion? We are not in a position at the moment to make this
migration. Our netboot image is running 10.6.8 v1.1. I am working to move
that to 10.7.1 to gain netbooting back.

Thanks,

Hi Jeff,

I ran into a similar situation a while ago. 10.6.8 wouldn't boot from my install media, which was retail 10.6.3. I read that it has something to do with a firmware update, although I can't confirm that. I would assume that running the same updates on your netboot image would fix the issue.

Best regards,
