Can unmanaged apps be changed to managed apps?

I just finished the 4-hr training and had one iPad enroll the JSS suite. This iPad already had some apps install before enrollment and they are now showed as Unmanaged apps. I wondered if it's possible to turn these Unmanaged apps into JSS Managed apps. Thanks.

Hi

Only Apps and Configuration Profiles deployed with the JSS can be managed by the JSS. Also Apps are denoted as managed or un-managed by the JSS at the time they are deployed. So if you deploy and App. to a device as an un-managed App. and then change that App. in the JSS to managed after the fact. That App on that device will be un-managed, however if another device downloads it from the JSS after the change the App. will be managed on that device.
