Casper Remote and Recon stuck

I just updated our 10.5.8 server with the latest Java and security patches from Apple. Restarted the JSS, had to reinstall without distribution points to get Tomcat working again. Web management runs fine, however, we had some new clients try to join in using a quickadd package. None of them showed up. When I do a network scanner on their subnet, it just sits there and doesn't move. On top of that, I can't push packages via Remote either.

Anyone have any ideas before I consult Jamf support?

First thing came to mind for me (cuz it happened to us) is that the quick
add hosed the management account on those systems. Can you SSH into any of
them?

I can SSH: I tried one machine that failed to join and I could ssh using the management account. I ran "jamf manage" and it said the configuration was not setup. Built the configuration file manually then was able to do a "jamf manage" and "jamf recon". Only thing is, I don't want to SSH into 15 other machines when this should have worked manually.

Anyone know why that is happening? We had this issue once before and what happened was someone opened the zipped PKG in windows which trashed the permissions of the quickadd. This time I know that wasn't the issue.

Any other ideas?

What about with Network Scanner or Remote?
