Is there a "clean and safe way" to change UID and GID on Mac devices? or would you not recommend this at all.
I have a script that can change the UID and GID. But the Macbook is always unstable and slow after I change them. I had to change the file permissions so I could access my home directory. I don't know if there is another problem that I am not aware of.
Have you ever changed the UID and GID on Macs, or is that too risky and you would rather not do it?
