I just posted a similar question, hit refresh and here yours is.
I just tried 3.1.04072 and it's got a problem with disconnecting every 50 seconds or so.

This is posted in the latest AnyConnect read me (.4072):

AnyConnect may not operate reliably on Mac OS X Mavericks / 10.9, as described in defect CSCuh73010. There are intermittent disconnects with wireless connections. Wired connections may also disconnect, but not as frequently. Cisco is working with Apple to resolve this problem.

I have a few testers who have Mavericks and Cisco AnyConnect 3.1.04059 and they haven't had any issues.

On a side note, we are working through some other potential issues with the AnyConnect client that is causing latency issues. So maybe there is something related.?. More specifically it's around the Web Security portion having no license or a misconfigured license. You may want to confirm this isn't causing any of the issues for you.

If you aren't using Web Security and have it installed you can run this command to uninstall.

sudo /opt/cisco/anyconnect/bin/websecurity_uninstall.sh

I was able to consistently reproduce the disconnects using the GM build of Mavericks (13A598) only older MacBook Pros (2008, 2009 and Mid-2010), leading me to speculate that it was related to the chipset. I haven't had a chance to test it again on the release version of Mavericks (13A603), however.

Hi All,
Here is an update to my problem with VPN connection running in Mavericks.
Apparently if i set my VPN plug-in connection to Allow to Run in Safe Mode i can connect to my work VPN. I will make a call to Apple Server Engineer Support to find out if this is a risk to our network environment. Please let me know if any one is face with this problem after upgrading to Mavericks.

Thank You

Cisco just posted a workaround patch to use while Apple addresses the root cause in 10.9 in a later software update; probably 10.9.1 although no dev seeds have been posted for it yet.
