Hello Jamf Community,
I wanted to ask if there is a way to display, for example, Usernames or other attributes in the JSS computer search overview. E.G, if you look for all computer objects, without any definitions, it would be great to display the username in a different column and not only the computer name itself.
Is that possible or is there any feature request for it?

@Kevin.mueller - are you talking about the display columns in the JSS that are used when you do any searches or if just pulling up all records (blank search)?
If so, yes, you can add/remove any columns you want to show up as the default set. Instructions vary from the 8 series to the 9 series of Casper Suite, but generally speaking, you need to go into Inventory Display, and check or uncheck whatever you want in that section.
Is that what you meant?

Our desktop team (less than administrator privileges) do not benefit from the Inventory Display configuration. There search results only list the information their searching for. So if they're searching by Computer Name, the list of computers contains only that one column. Where as if I search by Computer Name, I see all the columns configured within Inventory Display.
What am I missing? I'd like us to see the same search results and inventory information. I just don't want them modifying the JSS Settings.

They can customize their own view settings without making any global changes. By default the search columns will be pretty basic until they adjust them under their account settings.
