Wondering if anyone else has run into this issue.
We are seeing print jobs of all sizes being delayed on 10.9 Macs when sent to ColorQube copiers. It can be from any app and any size (even 1 word in a txt doc).The print job just sits in the queue on the Mac for minutes but does eventually print.
We have Win2008R2 print servers, so the printers are installed on Macs with LPD queues.
Any of the Xerox drivers since spring are having the issue.
Only seems to be a problem with the ColorQube line of copiers.
The OS X Generic PS driver does NOT have the issue, but also doesn't print in color to the Xerox's.
Works fine with IPP or Direct-IP printing.
Interestingly...the second you open the print dialog window, 3 1kb print jobs show up on that printer queue when you look at CUPS on the Mac. Slowly, the print queue starts to fill with more 1kb print jobs. Closing the print dialog window does not clear the queue.
I have been working with Xerox Support on this (I think its a driver issue) but I got as far as the Xerox Apple Support Dept and have heard nothing is weeks.
