I have a situation where we purchased a plugin for Sketchup 2013 Pro, however the developer only licenses it individually and not in any sort of network/concurrent fashion. I have 20 licenses I would like to deploy to each machine in a specific lab, but am having trouble wrapping my head around how I can accomplish this. The license file can be written out via script as it is a simple text file with the license key in it, but I am struggling to figure out a way to assign a serial number to a machine and then get that information via script to create the text file. I have thought about using a custom attribute in the computer record, but I am not certain how you would then get that via shell script. Any thoughts or help on my conundrum?
