Deploying a Virtual Box VM to a new account at imaging time

I am trying to deploy, at imaging time, a new user account (done via script), Virtual Box, and an already provisioned VM to a computer. The first 2 items are straightforward, but I am not sure how to deploy the third since there is no copy item functionality in Casper imaging (that I know of).

Is it possible to create a DMG package with the files and just deploy it that way (after the account has been created so the path exists)?

Cheers,

Bryan

yea, if you drag the files you need into composer and create a DMG from it, when you deploy it via Casper, it will just "install" those files to the specified locations.

As a best practice, i normally keep any centrally provisioned VMs out of the user profile. I normally keep them in a VMs folder in Shared. The reason for this is that if a user leaves, and we need to reprovision the machine quickly, we can just point VirtualBox to that location and the new user is good to go. We try and completely re-provision and reimage anytime a machine changes hands, but that doesnt always happen...

Sounds like a good idea, thanks.

A new issue has appeared. Virtual Box deploys normally when via policy but not as part of the configuration. No errors are thrown but it does not actually install.
