Deploying packages pushes existing applications to an Application 1 folder?

We are having a very strange issue where our deployment packages are installing just fine on our new Macs, however, the previously installed applications are all being copied over to an Applications 1 folder. I can't seem to find any help via google. Has anyone ran into this issue before? What I am missing?

For reference we are running Casper Suite 9.73.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I have seen that it is almost always permissions on the folder not matching the Applications folder on the base image.

@hwarrensford can you advise me on your deployment method? With images too?

@pblake Thank you, the issue was permissions. I ran the package through composer and fixed the permissions.
