Devices under automated enrollment not being picked up by smart group

I have devices that we have wiped and redeploy and also devices that are brand new and are not being picked up by the smart group. or at least its failing to be picked up as those devices are supposed to get FileVault enable. Theses devices are not getting filevault trigger. Im a bit concerned as we now have device complaince enabled and this a requirements. not sure how to fix those devices that I just reliazed filevault is not enabled and went thru the process.

What's the criteria for that Smart Group?

I target all devices and all users with stuff like FV, and then set exclusions on smart groups. This way if something goes wrong the device will get the config if it was not supposed to, rather than not getting the config when it was supposed to. Its not a compliance issue if a device was encrypted when it should not have been :).

I would suggest checking criteria for your smart group as @Ashok_A suggested.

how about the policy that I already have running? will that cause problems.

I had users running their system before we did auto enroll. so I sent them register their asset later on. and those drives were encrypted with a different app manager.
