Hey All,
We have a logi swytch and it needs DisplayLink app to make it work. I'm trying to make DisplayLink available on Self Service. But when I tried to create a configuration policy to allow screen recording for DisplayLink, it doesn't work at all. Anyone has any idea to make it work. Please see my PPPC configuration below

You can not specifically allow Screen Recording with a PPPC Configuration Profile. Apple considers this a privacy issue for the user. At best all you can do is allow a Standard User to enable (or you can disabled for an Application).

you have done all you can do, the rest is on the user. They will be prompted to allow screen sharing and with your settings in place that you have above they don't need to be an admin to accomplish screen sharing

The only other thing that I've pushed out for DisplayLink (besides the PPPC settings you have) is an Approved Kernel Extension. I use this for a Plugable USB-C dual display adapter. Haven't seen any issues with this setup. It allows the user to enable "Screen Recording" and enables the kernel. Not sure if you'd need that part for the hardware you are using.

Like the comments above, the user will still need to do some of the work by enabling screen recording for DisplayLink Manager. But this is the configuration I deploy to allow standard users to enable this within System Settings without the need for admin elevation:

I'd also recommend using this tool from Jamf when crreating your PPPC config profiles: https://github.com/jamf/PPPC-Utility
