distribution point replication

Hi Guys,

Im trying to setup 2 DP and have them sync, I tried this on 2 test servers and had the same problem, i managed to solve it back then but cant remember how and now the same thing is happening on my live servers.

I have created the master DP Then via JSS Setup Utility created a backup DP Both are listed in the JSS web I have setup a replication schedule on the backup to replicate every hour so that i can observe the progress

The problem i have is that every hour the backup DP sysncs the Master DP's local admin account rather than the Caspershare.

So the backup DP CasperShare consists of Desktop, Documents etc etc for the ladmin account from the master DP

Anyone else had this and know how to solve it?

I had exactly the same thing on my test servers.

Ive checked both sharepoints, checked the casperadmin and casperinstall accounts, checked the DP in the jss web page

In the JSS Setup Utility you can add distribution points. Make sure that they can be authenticated to. I had the problem and it was because I did a password change. That problem is remedied now and my distribution points replicate as they should.

I have the JSS and master distribution point installed on an xserve at HQ and a distribution point on a windows box over seas. When I replicate it goes through the motions and says it was successful but when I check the file share nothing has been transferred… anyone have any ideas?
