dropping domain when dual booting

I deployed a handful of macs out that had 10.6.8 and 10.7.2 beta to our
support groups so they can begin testing. What I'm finding is that
systems are dropping off the domain when they reboot from one side or
the other. I figured it was the machine names were the same and
therefor confusing AD. So I thought I would solve it by assigning
different machine names to the os's, but apparently it's not working.

If I drop and re-add to the domain then the users can sign in properly,
but it's causing me to either have to remote into the systems or have
them bring them back to me so they can log in...

When the machine is in my office I can reboot in to either partition and
do an ID test until my fingers wear down to the nubs, it only seems to
happen after the machines are given to the recipient.
