I'm disappointed in the JSS' inability to email out reports on a schedule in the 9.x series. JSS is so helpful emailing out alerts, it's unfortunate that automated reports haven't been rolled into the product, nor any sign of that on the horizon.
In 8.x, if you had a mac setup (server or workstation), you could use the Report Downloader tool, but over last year it was very inconsistent for us anyway. In 9.x, even that seems to be deprecated (https://jamfnation.jamfsoftware.com/discussion.html?id=9756).
Our Sharepoint admin said he may be able to get something working via ODBC connection. Has anyone gone down this route? You'd need to come up with the sql query, but it would take part of the scheduled emailing part and I suspect if it works it'd be much more reliable than the Report Downloader anyway.
Hoping to test this soon, but wondered if anyone else had ran into any road blocks or had thoughts on this.
