Enable iPad Restrictions form JSS

I was able to create a profile with the desired iPAD restrictions, but the profile does not ENABLE restrictions. I am having to manually enable restrictions on the iPAD. One restrictions are manually enabled, I then see the profile settings I configured in the JSS.

Is there a way to enable restirctions and assign a restrictions code from the JSS? Or does this have to be a manual step?

    This is not currently possible through the JSS (nor via Apple Configurator).

    Unfortunately, the only way to have the on-device Restrictions be enabled and retain a passcode is to create an encrypted device backup with iTunes and restore that backup to other devices with iTunes.
