I'm trying to enroll the older MacBook in Jamf manually using the Enrollment Invitation feature. When I download the package it errors out during installation. Would this be because of the older OS?
@Aaron Thanks! Appreciate the heads up. I called support and will update the notes if there is some type of solution. It would be kind of a bummer not to be able to enroll a few devices, but Mt. Lion does seem like decades ago. Cheers.
After some digging, it doesn't look like there's going to be a way to get the device enrolled without standing up a "test" environment where that macOS version is supported. I did find a couple other tickets where they tried to cheat it one way or another and all of them resulted in no success.
Let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns on this issue.
